   Big Daddy & Red Hot Java guitar and harp player Keith "Fendeblender" Fendelander and I made it up to the Mount Olympus in Moultrie Georgia last Sunday evening to help raise money for Blues legend Eddie Kirkland, after his serious "ticker" surgery (triple bypass to be specific).  After jamming with Beales Toupee from Valdosta (great band) for an hour we got to chat  with Eddie and it's great to report he's well on his way to recovery.  Must be that clean living, or maybe it's Eddie's young bride who keeps nurturing his soul!  Johnny Marshall, King Johnson, Willie King, Larry Griffith and many more regional Bluesmen offered their talents over the weekend.  Special thanks to Richard and his Mount Olympus crew for making us feel at home and hosting the whole shebang.
