Mel Schnake - Bass & Vocals

Originally from the Midwest, Mel has been
playing in bands off and on, for years. Most
recently in the South Georgia area, Mel
has performed with the Rare Blend Blues Band and Bootleg Stereo.
Mel  started his musical career as a drummer,
then switched to guitar, and finally bass
guitar. His musical influences are Stevie
Ray Vaughn, Tommy Castro, Walter Trout,
Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, and Tinsley Ellis.
Influential bass players include Jimmy
Trapp (Walter Trout and the Radicals), Jaz
Lochre (Bad Company), Roger Glover (Deep
Purple), John Entwistle (The Who), Tommy Shannon ( Double Trouble), Jack
Bruce (Cream), and The Evil One (Tinsley
Ellis).
